We are launching a campaign demanding maximum publicity around the missile strike in Makiivka. It is a huge tragedy for the Samara region. The mobilized soldiers who died there were civilians only yesterday. Their deaths cannot and should not be designated as a military secret.

Right now the Ministry of Defense is already trying to shift all the responsibility onto the dead. Ministry officials literally claim that the strike was a result of phone calls made by Russian soldiers on New Year’s Eve. But for some reason, nobody has specified who stationed such a large number of people in the same building with fuel.

We don’t believe in what governor Azarovsays about the personal approach. Moreover, he said that first priority would be given to the wounded. Seems like nobody cares about the dead. But we do, we care about their families that are not accustomed to living in a military environment. They have a right to know the truth.

Our first step will be this petition. We demand that a name list of the dead soldiers from the Samara region be published.
