The names of Irina Kotova and Asya Demishkevich, who were supposed to present their works at the “Kitovras” book festival in Vladimir, have disappeared from the event's website.
According to OVD-Info this is linked to the discontent of writer Pyotr Alyoshkin, who previously criticized the choice of festival participants.
“If there were the master in the country, he would quickly ask who had invited Kotova to the book festival, and would immediately expel this hidden enemy within Russian authorities. The government of city of Vladimir has clearly been exposed as an enemy! It will continue to harm our country, oppress poets who love the Motherland”, - Alyoshkin complained.
