Materials regarding the war in Ukraine and the torture of Navalny appeared on the website of Komsomolskaya Pravda. They were immediately deleted.
On the website of Komsomolskaya Pravda, articles appeared about the war in Ukraine and the torture of Alexei Navalny. These materials were quickly deleted from the site. Prodolzhenie Sleduet reports that 24-year-old newsman Vladimir Romanenko is responsible for publishing the articles.
“The publications didn’t even last for ten minutes. Romanenko’s managing editor wrote to him: ‘F*cking hell. I thought of you as a person. I didn’t expect this from you,’ and blocked him on Telegram,” reports Prodolzhenie Sleduet.
In the spring of last year, journalists of Lenta.ru Egor Polyakov and Alexandra Miroshnikova published on the Lenta.ru website materials about war crimes committed by Russia in Ukraine. Headlines “Russia destroyed Mariupol” and “Vladimir Putin lied about Russia’s goals in Ukraine” appeared on the website. Searches in the ‘Sport’ section of the site returned materials about “genocide perpetrated by the Russian army, led by terrorist Putin, against peaceful Mariupol”. Another headline contained information about Putin’s lies. However, upon going to the articles, readers would see the site’s regular material.
On the 28th of February of last year, unknown persons hacked the websites of the publications Fontanka, Kommersant, Izvestia, TASS, Buro 24/7, Mel, and E1. Posted thereon were appealed allegedly from journalists.
