LGBT+ Individuals from Russia, You Are Not Alone!

One year has passed since the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation declared the "International LGBT Social Movement" extremist.
30.11.2024, at noon local time, activists gathered in front of the Russian embassy or their city's central square around the world in support of the queer community in Russia. Their goal was to draw attention to the ongoing repression and express solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community, which, despite everything, continues to live and fight under oppressive conditions. Their message to those in Russia was: "You are not alone! You are okay! Every evil comes to an end, and this evil will end!"
#YouAreNotAlone is resonating across the globe today. Actions are taking place worldwide, and the photos feature compassionate individuals from Armenia, Georgia, Austria, Germany, Finland, Norway, and Belgium. These words are directed at those who face injustice and fear daily, living in a country where absurd and inhumane laws have become a reality.
