New criminal case has been initiated for a young woman from Samara

In relation to the arrested 24-year-old Polina Yevtushenko from Samara, a new criminal case has been initiated. Previously, she was allegedly arrested for ‘inciting state treason’ by persuading an acquaintance to join the ‘Freedom of Russia’ legion. On July 25th, ASTRA found out that a new case has been opened against Polina for ‘incitement to terrorism.’ The reason was her social media posts in support of the ‘Freedom of Russia’ legion, which is involved in the Eastern Ukraine conflict.
